For 75 years, Trakcja has been delivering key investments in transport infrastructure, supporting the development of the Polish economy. Over time, the company has become one of the most important players in the market — both economically and socially. Throughout the years, it has employed nearly 100,000 people and collaborated with tens of thousands of subcontractors and suppliers.

Trakcja’s growth is the result of consistently expanding competencies and building strong, lasting relationships with its stakeholders. This journey is founded on a conscious commitment to social responsibility and a focus on sustainable development in every aspect of its operations.

Corporate Social Responsibility — ESG

At Trakcja, we implement the principles of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), which guide our activities — from the investment planning stage, through design and construction, to infrastructure operation.

Environment (Environmental):

Sustainable materials – we use recycled resources, local materials, and low-emission products.
Energy efficiency – we design facilities with low energy consumption.
Emission reduction – we apply technologies that minimize air, water, and soil pollution.
Water management – we implement systems for rainwater recovery and greywater recycling.
Biodiversity protection – we safeguard the natural environment in the areas where we operate.

Society (Social):

Occupational health and safety – we provide appropriate training, protective equipment, and continuous monitoring.
Community engagement – we involve local communities and respond to their needs.
Minimizing inconvenience – we reduce noise, dust, and other disruptions caused by our projects.
Supporting local development – we hire local workers and use the services of regional businesses.

Corporate Governance (Governance):

Transparency – we share information about our projects, their costs, and their impact on the surroundings.
Ethics – we act in accordance with ethical principles, combat corruption, and uphold human rights.

Reusable bags (15 initiatives).
Packaging made from recycled materials (75 campaigns).
