Better rail accessibility, convenient transfers to the metro and another step in the development of public transport in the capital. Trakcja S.A. has signed a contract with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. for the design and construction of the new Warszawa Ulrychów stop. The value of the investment is approximately PLN 41 million net.
The new stop will be built on the so-called large ring line (duża linia obwodowa), under the viaduct along ul. Górczewska, at the junction of Bemowo and Wola. Thanks to its convenient location, it will be an important interchange point between rail and Metro Line 2, improving the accessibility of public transport for residents of the western part of Warsaw.
Comprehensive delivery of the investment
The scope of works carried out by Trakcja includes the preparation of design documentation, obtaining the necessary administrative decisions and carrying out construction works. The investment will create two modern platforms equipped with lifts, stairs, shelters, benches and a dynamic passenger information system. The stop will be adapted to the needs of persons with reduced mobility.
The project also includes the reconstruction of railway infrastructure, including tracks, turnouts, the overhead contact line and railway traffic control equipment.

Rail closer to residents
The new stop will increase the accessibility of rail in the western part of the city, providing residents with faster and more convenient connections and easier access to urban public transport.
The Warszawa Ulrychów stop will also be an important element of the organisation of railway traffic during future works on the Warsaw Railway Junction, including the modernisation of Warszawa Wschodnia station. The facility will be adapted to serve long-distance trains, which will further increase its importance for transport in the capital.
Opening of the stop to passengers is planned for the end of 2026, while part of the infrastructure works will continue in the following months.
