Trakcja to Build a Link Road in Kędzierzyn-Koźle
On 1 September 2023, representatives of Trakcja S.A. and the Municipality of Kędzierzyn-Koźle signed a contract for works under the project: “Construction of a link road between the northern bypass and ul. Przyjaźni / Strzelecka, Blachownia estate in Kędzierzyn-Koźle”.
The investment involves the construction of a link road that will connect the industrial areas in Blachownia with the northern bypass of Kędzierzyn-Koźle. The road is intended to provide access from the bypass to, among others, the industrial and service areas on the Blachownia and Sławęcice estates, forming a link between the bypass on national road no. 40 and ul. Przyjaźni / Strzelecka in Kędzierzyn-Koźle, thereby taking heavy road traffic out of residential areas.
The link road being built will significantly improve the quality of life and safety of local residents, as well as the environment in the immediate surroundings.
The scope of the investment includes: the construction of two roundabouts, a 2.7 km road section and two bridge structures approx. 243 and 87 m long, together with associated infrastructure.
Trakcja has about 21 months to complete the whole task, which is worth almost PLN 67 million gross.
