Trakcja S.A. and the Silesian University of Technology Establish Cooperation to Develop Future Engineering Staff

At Trakcja S.A., we believe that modern infrastructure is created above all by people – their knowledge, competencies and experience. That is why for years we have actively supported the development of young engineers and cooperated with technical universities, helping students gain practical experience and learn the specifics of the infrastructure industry already at the education stage.

For several years we have also been cooperating with Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology (Politechnika Bydgoska), engaging in initiatives that support the development of students of technical fields and the building of practical competencies of future specialists in the infrastructure industry.

The next step in these activities is the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Silesian University of Technology (Politechnika Śląska) – one of the leading technical universities in Poland. The joint initiative aims to develop the competencies of future staff of the infrastructure industry and to strengthen cooperation between the academic community and business.

The agreement covers, among other things, the organisation of work placements and internships for students, the implementation of joint educational initiatives, cooperation with student research societies, and activities supporting the development of competencies related to modern infrastructure construction and transport.

Trakcja S.A. has been delivering strategic infrastructure investments in Poland for more than 75 years, specialising in the construction and modernisation of railway, tram, road and energy infrastructure. The Company also consistently engages in activities supporting technical and vocational education, seeing this as an investment in the future of the whole industry.
