Trakcja PRKiI Secures a New Package of Guarantee Limits

Trakcja PRKiI has secured almost a quarter of a billion zloty in new guarantee limits. The leader in railway construction in Poland is fully prepared for PKP PLK’s new investment offensive.

On 21 January this year, Trakcja PRKiI S.A. signed three agreements related to obtaining new guarantee limits. PZU S.A. significantly increased its existing limit to PLN 150 million, similarly InterRisk Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń S.A. Vienna Insurance Group increased its existing limit from PLN 17.5 million to PLN 40 million, while STU Ergo Hestia S.A. granted a new guarantee limit of PLN 150 million.

“These agreements are a testament to the trust placed in us by the largest financial institutions and a positive assessment of our company  – says Jarosław Tomaszewski, President of the Management Board of Trakcja PRKiI S.A. We are continuing the new tendering strategy launched in the middle of last year, wanting to maintain our position as leader in railway construction and expand our activity in road construction and energy. We are waiting for the successful outcome of prequalifications and tenders worth over PLN 22 billion, for which we have submitted bids.”

Trakcja PRKiI S.A. currently has guarantee limit agreements in place for a total of over PLN 735 million, including, among others, one of the first such agreements in Poland with Zurich Insurance plc, for an amount of PLN 70 million.
