Oleśnica – Wrocław Psie Pole Contract Completed on Time.

Trakcja PRKiI completed on schedule the renovation of railway line no. 143 on the Oleśnica – Wrocław Psie Pole section. The total length of the modernised tracks is more than 15 km. Works under the contract also included replacing turnout sleepers at 4 turnouts, renovating 1 bridge and replacing panels at 8 level crossings. In addition, railway traffic control (srk) works were carried out, along with adjustment of the overhead contact line and clearing of ditches.

The task was carried out using equipment from the Company’s machinery fleet, including an RM 80 ballast cleaner with MFS 100 wagons, a Donelli gantry crane together with railway flat wagons, locomotives, dosing-type and ballast wagons, and road-rail excavators.

Thanks to the modernisation, the maximum speed of trains increased to 120 km/h, while at the same time the level of safety on the tracks and at level crossings improved.
