Reconstruction of the Łapy – Markowszczyzna Road

A consortium of UNIBEP and Trakcja PRKiI has signed a contract worth PLN 141.6 million net for the reconstruction of a 14 km section of voivodeship road no. 682 between Łapy and  Markowszczyzna. The contract provides, among other things, for laying a new road pavement structure with reinforcement of the shoulders, reconstruction of intersections, and construction of engineering structures: road bridges, culverts and wildlife crossings. The task will also include bypasses of Łapy, Uhowo, Turośń Dolna and Markowszczyzna. The road will be equipped with a new storm sewerage system and lighting. The contract also includes construction of pavements, pedestrian and cycle paths and bus bays. The works will require the reconstruction of the existing gas, power, telecommunications and sanitary installations that conflict with the works.

Trakcja PRKiI, as Consortium Partner, accounts for a 50 per cent share of the work on the task.

The investment will be completed in June 2019.
