New Member of Trakcja’s Management Board: Financial Expert Joins the Team!

On 13 June 2024 the Supervisory Board of Trakcja S.A. adopted a resolution on the appointment of Mr Tomasz Wardak to the position of Member of the Management Board, Finance Director. The Supervisory Board’s decision took effect on 17 June 2024.

Mr Tomasz Wardak is an experienced economist and manager who has gained extensive experience in finance, strategy and management. He has worked both in leading Polish companies, where he headed large finance teams and oversaw financial transactions of multi-million value, and in start-ups, where he built finance functions from scratch.

His key roles included:

1. United Oilfield Services Sp. z o.o. (2011-2018): As Finance Director, Mr Wardak was responsible for creating and developing the back-office function in a newly established company providing specialist services to the oil and gas exploration industry.
2. Polkomtel S.A. (2004-2010): As Director of the Finance Office, he oversaw financing transactions and financial risk management at one of the leaders of the mobile telephony market.
3. Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A. (2002-2004): As Director of the Economic Department, he was responsible for controlling, financing and financial risk management at an integrated leader of the gas market in Poland.

Mr Wardak is also an enthusiast of transport infrastructure development, the author of articles on the subject and of a book on the Central Transport Hub (Centralny Port Komunikacyjny). His experience and commitment make him a valuable member of the Trakcja S.A. team.
