Poznań – Rokietnica Railway Contract

Trakcja PRKiI has won another railway contract. For more than PLN 292 million net, it will carry out works on railway line E59 in the Wielkopolska region.

The aim of the investment is to rebuild the track layouts and accompanying infrastructure on a section of more than 18 kilometres between Poznań Główny and Rokietnica. Under the contract, the track superstructure and track bed, the overhead contact line, and power engineering equipment and systems up to 1 kV will be renovated. 3 stations will be modernised: Poznań Wola, Kiekrz and Rokietnica, as well as 25 engineering structures, including 4 viaducts and 3 bridges. In addition, passenger service infrastructure will be rebuilt: platforms, buildings, passages, as well as roads and level crossings.  The contract also includes track drainage, the removal of utility conflicts, and demolition and tree removal. The completion deadline has been set at 23 months from the date of signing the contract.
