Large Contract for Our Lithuanian Company

Kauno Tiltai AB, a Lithuanian company of Trakcja Group, together with consortium partner Litenergoservis UAB, has concluded a significant contract concerning the reconstruction of the 330 kV Darbėnai-Bitėnai overhead line with a total designed length of 117.5 km. The value of the contract concluded with the Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator, which operates the Lithuanian electricity transmission grid, Litgrid AB, is EUR 46,930,000 (PLN 219,684,023). The amount attributable to AB Kauno Tiltai will be EUR 32,851,000 net (PLN 153,778,816). 

The agreed scope of works includes in particular the demolition and reconstruction of existing single-circuit lines into double-circuit lines, the preparation of the technical design and works design, the dismantling of existing single-circuit lines – 106 km (3 pcs), the installation of foundations and supports – 340 sets, fibre-optic installation – 117.5 km and cable installation – 1,380 km. The works will be carried out in the western part of Lithuania, in 3 districts: Pagėgiai, Šilutė and Klaipėda.
