Who is this programme for?

The programme is aimed at students and graduates of technical fields. We do not require any prior professional experience. What counts is your commitment and your desire to grow. We will teach you everything. 

• Students and Graduates:
  We are looking for third-, fourth- and fifth-year students of engineering or master’s degree programmes. Graduates may also apply up to 12 months after completing their studies. 
  
• Fields of study:
  You will fit in with us if you are studying construction (railway, road, bridge, structural and building), electrical engineering, electrotechnics, power engineering, as well as fields related to overhead contact lines, railway traffic control, energy, teletechnics or telecommunications.

• Paid internships: We offer remuneration for taking part in the programme under a civil-law contract (umowa zlecenie).
  
• Practical knowledge: Forget about making coffee. You will genuinely support the coordination of orders for materials and equipment, take part in work acceptance procedures and work quantity measurements, and work with contract documentation in cooperation with our engineering staff.
  
• Mentor support: Every intern is assigned a dedicated Internship Supervisor on the contract side. Your Mentor will introduce you to your tasks and provide professional support.
  
• Employment prospects: The internship is only the beginning. We offer the best interns a traineeship, and ultimately employment within Trakcja S.A.  

Programme Structure 

Your path at Trakcja

• Step 1: Summer Internship (July – September) From 1 to 3 months of paid operational work on our infrastructure contracts. You complete health and safety (BHP) training and job-specific safety instruction. 
  
• Step 2: Evaluation and Feedback (September / October) A meeting with your Mentor to sum up the internship, valuable feedback and references. 
  
• Step 3: Professional Traineeship For the best, an offer to continue cooperation in the form of a traineeship that you can easily combine with your studies. 
  
• Step 4: Eventual Employment A path leading to permanent employment in an engineering or specialist position at the Company.
