Trakcja Group Improves Profitability and Maintains Stable Operations in Q1 2026
The first quarter of 2026 was a period of stable operations for Trakcja Group and of consistent implementation of measures aimed at improving the quality of the contract portfolio and the efficiency of project delivery. In a demanding market environment, the Group maintained a safe level of operations and continued to deliver strategic infrastructure investments.
Consolidated revenue of Trakcja Group in the first quarter of 2026 amounted to PLN 325 million, which is the highest level of revenue over the last three years (2024 -2026). The Group’s EBITDA reached a positive level of PLN 5 million, clearly improving the result compared with previous years. The main driver of growth was the performance of Trakcja S.A., whose EBITDA increased to PLN 25 million at a profitability of 9.2%, compared with PLN 6 million in Q1 2025 and PLN 3 million two years earlier. The lower level of consolidated EBITDA in relation to the result of Trakcja S.A. is a temporary phenomenon and results directly from the stronger impact of weather conditions on the intensity of work of the subsidiaries (mainly Kauno Tiltai on the Lithuanian market) and the natural limitation of the work front in the first months of the year. A significant improvement was also recorded at the level of gross profit on sales – Trakcja S.A. achieved a result of PLN 29 million compared with PLN 8 million a year earlier, while on a consolidated basis the Group’s result rose to PLN 12 million.
Despite persistent cost pressure and demanding delivery conditions on the infrastructure construction market, the Group maintained operational stability and improved the profitability of its business.

In the first quarter of 2026, Trakcja Group continued to deliver key infrastructure investments in Poland, covering railway, tram, road and energy projects. The most important projects include, among others, works on the Warszawa Wawer – Otwock railway line, urban investments in Bydgoszcz and Toruń, and the construction of a modern technical facility for PKP Intercity in Warsaw’s Grochów district.
The Company also remains active in new tender procedures, consistently developing its project portfolio and strengthening its position on the infrastructure market. An important element of the Group’s activities is also cooperation with technical universities and support for the development of future engineering staff through internship and traineeship programmes and educational initiatives.
Trakcja Group consistently focuses on the quality of delivery, the safety of the works carried out and further strengthening of operational efficiency. The priority remains timely delivery of projects and responsible management of contractual and cost risk.
In the coming months, the Group will focus on further improving efficiency, timely delivery of the order backlog and active participation in tender procedures on the infrastructure market.
