4/2023 – Preliminary Estimated Financial Results of Trakcja S.A. for the Fourth Quarter and the Full Year 2022

The Management Board of Trakcja S.A. (the “Company”, “Issuer”) announces that today it has completed the preliminary closing of the accounts and the collection of financial data for the preparation of the Company’s individual financial statements for the 12 months ended December 31, 2022. In connection with this and in reference to current report No. 2/2023, the Company discloses the following preliminary estimated financial results:

• Preliminary Estimated Financial Results for the Fourth Quarter of 2022:
  • Revenue: PLN 297,545 thousand
  • Gross Profit: PLN 10,993 thousand
  • EBITDA: PLN 6,691 thousand
  • Gross Profit/Loss: -PLN 8,900 thousand
  • Net Profit/Loss: -PLN 15,492 thousand
• Preliminary Estimated Financial Results for the Full Year 2022:
  • Revenue: PLN 791,254 thousand
  • Gross Profit/Loss: -PLN 141,622 thousand
  • EBITDA: -PLN 162,790 thousand
  • Gross Profit/Loss: -PLN 310,674 thousand
  • Net Profit/Loss: -PLN 291,586 thousand

The above preliminary estimates have not been audited by an independent auditor.

Additionally, these estimates do not account for impairment tests or updates to asset values. In particular, the Company has not yet performed impairment tests on investments in subsidiaries as of the date of this report, and therefore any impairment adjustments to the value of investments have not been included in the presented estimates. Key factors that may impact the investment valuations and thus the results of impairment tests include the profitability of ongoing construction contracts and the discount rate used (EBITDA and WACC levels, which are influenced by market interest rates as of December 31, 2022).

The final financial results of the Company will be disclosed in the individual annual report for the 12 months ended December 31, 2022, which is scheduled for publication on April 6, 2023.
