We Will Build a Viaduct in Skarżysko-Kamienna

On 11 February 2021, a contract was signed between Trakcja S.A. and Skarżysko County (Powiat Skarżyski), represented by the County Roads Authority (Zarząd Dróg Powiatowych).

The subject of the contract is the extension of the road system together with the construction of a viaduct over the railway tracks in Skarżysko-Kamienna. The contract will be performed as part of the investment task entitled “Construction of an Integrated Transport System, Including the Reconstruction of the Existing Road System and the Construction of a Structure Crossing Railway Line No. 8 Warsaw – Kraków and Connecting the Dolna Kamienna Estate with the Przydworcowe Estate in Skarżysko-Kamienna.” The value of the order is PLN 34,785,816.31 gross, and the completion date has been set for 31 December 2022. 

The agreed scope of works includes in particular the construction of a viaduct over the railway tracks and the extension of the road system – Al. Piłsudskiego on the section from Al. Tysiąclecia PP to the area of ul. Towarowa, together with the intersections with Al. Tysiąclecia PP, with Al. Niepodległości by means of a turbo roundabout, and with ul. Towarowa.  As part of the planned works, Trakcja S.A. will build carriageways, bus lanes, pavements, a pedestrian and cycle path, green areas, and individual and public driveways. The storm sewer system and street lighting will also be extended. Among other things, the water supply network, the power grid, the sanitary sewer system and teletechnical facilities will be reconstructed.
