Trakcja PRKiI S.A. will build a new transmission line between Przemyśl and Radymno in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The 110 kV power line will supply the Korczowa Logistic Park logistics centre, enable the connection of a number of new customers and reduce losses occurring during energy transmission.
Trakcja PRKiI and PGE Dystrybucja S.A. have concluded a contract for the construction of a transmission line. The contract provides for 14 km of 110 kV line on the Przemyśl – Radymno section. The main scope of works includes erecting 54 poles, from 20 to 40 metres high, on pile foundations, 48 km of conductors for the transmission network and 15 km of fibre-optic line with entries to the Przemyśl and Radymno stations.
The investment will make it possible to connect customers with higher connection capacity, reduce losses occurring during energy transmission, and improve the parameters of the electricity supplied. The line will also supply the Travellers’ Service Area (Miejsce Obsługi Podróżnych) at the motorway under construction in Korczowa, and connect two wind farms being built in the area, with a combined capacity of 6 MW. Trakcja PRKiI S.A.’s partner in the consortium delivering the contract, worth nearly PLN 9.4 million net, is Zakład Wykonawstwa Sieci Elektrycznych Białystok.
This is Trakcja PRKiI’s next energy contract. A 110 kV transmission line of about 24 km on the Przasnysz – Chorzele section (in northern Mazovia), worth PLN 15.6 million net, is currently nearing completion.
