Trakcja PRKiI with a Road Contract in Warsaw

Trakcja PRKiI has signed a contract worth nearly PLN 11 million gross for the reconstruction of the road layout at the junction of Grójecka Street with Harfowa and Racławicka streets in Warsaw’s Ochota district. The investment provides for replacing the carriageway surface together with the reconstruction of the tram track and underground infrastructure within the junction. In addition, a road lane for turning around will be created at the entrance of Grójecka Street in the northbound direction. Pavements, cycle paths and bus stops will be built. New lighting together with traffic signals will also be installed.

All works will be completed within 10 months of the date of signing the contract.

The aim of the investment is to increase the level of safety of road users, mainly pedestrians and cyclists. The junction of Grójecka Street with Racławicka and Harfowa streets has for years been a black spot on the capital’s road map.
