Trakcja PRKiI with Another Railway Contract

For more than PLN 27 million, Trakcja PRKiI will modernise railway line no. 353 on the Poznań Wschód – Mogilno section, running through the Kuyavian-Pomeranian and Greater Poland voivodeships.

The task includes the preparation of design documentation and the execution of construction works, as a result of which passenger trains will run at 160 km/h and freight trains will speed up to 100 km/h.

The project provides, among other things, for the replacement of the overhead contact line and track structure, the strengthening of the trackbed, the resolution of cable conflicts, as well as power engineering and railway traffic control (srk) works.

The contract will also include modernisation works at Wydartowo station, comprising the replacement of 6 turnouts and the reconstruction of 150-metre island platforms together with the installation of modern lighting, platform shelters and small architectural elements. In addition, the access routes to the platforms will be revitalised and adapted to the needs of persons with reduced mobility.

The deadline for completing the works falls in June 2017.
