The efforts made by Trakcja PRKiI to shape and develop safe working conditions have once again been recognised by the Safe Work Leaders Forum (Forum Liderów Bezpiecznej Pracy) – an initiative coordinated by the Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute (CIOP-PIB). On 6 November this year, at a ceremonial Gala held in Wrocław, Trakcja PRKiI received the “Green Card of a Safe Work Leader” (Zielona karta lidera bezpiecznej pracy). This distinction is awarded to companies that implement and promote the latest solutions in occupational health and safety, cooperate with CIOP-PIB in research on working conditions, and invest in improving employees’ qualifications in the area of OHS. When assessing companies nominated for the distinction, activities aimed at eliminating or reducing hazards from dangerous, harmful or arduous factors in the work environment are also analysed, as are the information, outreach and training activities aimed at shaping the awareness of employees and their immediate environment with regard to creating safe working conditions.
There are currently 146 companies among the leaders that stand out in building a culture of work safety.
