On-Time Reopening of the CMK

Trakcja PRKiI S.A., the General Contractor for the project entitled Design and Execution of Construction Works at Włoszczowa Północ Station as part of the project “Modernisation of Railway Line No. 4 – Central Trunk Line, Stage II”  on 10 August 2017 completed on time the intensive works during the month-long round-the-clock closure of railway line no. 4 – the Central Trunk Line, simultaneously restoring train traffic on the modernised section of railway line no. 4 on the Grodzisk Mazowiecki – Zawiercie route.

The completion of operational acceptance and the admission of Włoszczowa Północ railway station to traffic concluded Phase III of the construction works carried out by the Contractor on the odd-numbered side of the station, which included, among others, track works, railway traffic control, the traction network, power engineering, teletechnics and telecommunications, the construction of a platform between tracks no. 3 and 5, and the construction of a new dispatching signal box with the necessary infrastructure.

The first passenger train ran along the modernised railway line no. 4 at Włoszczowa Północ station on 11 August 2017 at 6:18 a.m.
