The project involves restoring the technical parameters of railway line sections with a total length of approx. 60 km, located on the Chybie – Żory – Rybnik – Nędza/Turze section. Under the investment, the track surface with track bed will be renovated and 139 turnouts will be replaced. The contract also provides for traction, power engineering and drainage works, modernisation of the railway traffic control system and renovation of passenger infrastructure, including: 21 platforms and 2 pedestrian crossings. In addition, 58 culverts, 17 viaducts and 13 bridges will be rebuilt.
