Reconstruction of a Road Viaduct near Racibórz

For more than PLN 3.8 million, Trakcja PRKiI S.A. will rebuild a viaduct near Racibórz under a contract concluded with the Provincial Roads Authority in Katowice (Zarząd Dróg Wojewódzkich w Katowicach). The works will take more than a year.

The contract provides for the complete reconstruction of the viaduct over the railway tracks in Nędza. The scope of works will also include the reconstruction of approach roads, correction of the vertical alignment of provincial road no. 421 and the construction of gabion retaining walls. Reconstruction of the viaduct will require the complete closure of the provincial road and the introduction of temporary traffic arrangements.

The completion date for the works has been set for October 2016.
