Two Viaducts to Be Built near Poznań
For nearly PLN 40 million Trakcja PRKiI S.A. will build two new viaducts as part of the modernisation of the Wrocław – Poznań railway line.
Trakcja PRKiI S.A. has concluded further contracts related to the modernisation of the Wrocław – Poznań railway line. Their subject is the construction of grade-separated crossings in place of the existing level crossings. The first structure, for PLN 15.9 million net, will be built in Poznań near the Poznań Dębiec stop. The second, for more than PLN 22.8 million net, will be built along ul. Śremska in Mosina – a town located 22 km south of the capital of Greater Poland.
These are further contracts related to the modernisation of the Wrocław – Poznań railway line that Trakcja PRKiI S.A. has concluded this year. On 5 October this year a contract was signed to complete the modernisation of the Poznań – Czempiń section for more than PLN 173 million. At the same time, the company is modernising a further part of this railway line on the Wrocław – border of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship section and Żmigród station, which it took over as consortium leader in 2013.
