New Road Contract in Wielkopolska

A consortium of Trakcja PRKiI and AB Kauno Tiltai, a company belonging to the Trakcja Group, has won a road contract in Wielkopolska worth PLN 52 million net. The investment provides for the comprehensive reconstruction of a 14-kilometre section of voivodeship road No. 190 between Krajenka and Wysoka.

Under the task, the carriageway surface structure will be replaced and new pavements and pedestrian and cycle routes will be built. The investment also provides for the reconstruction of junctions and the construction of bus bays and culverts. To increase pedestrian safety, traffic-calming islands will be built at the entrances to the localities along the route being renovated. Additional lighting will also be installed at pedestrian crossings, and steel protective barriers will appear along the route.

The entire investment, carried out in the design-and-build mode, will be completed within 38 months.
