Overhead Contact Line Modernisation in Bydgoszcz

Nearly PLN 4.5 million net will be the cost of the works to be carried out by Trakcja PRKiI S.A. under a contract concluded with PKP PLK S.A. in the area of Bydgoszcz Główna station.

The contract provides for the design and execution of electrical power engineering works on the Trzciniec – Bydgoszcz Główna section, which is more than 5 km long. Under the task, design documentation will be prepared and a comprehensive replacement of the overhead contact line will be carried out on a section of railway line no. 131 Chorzów Batory – Tczew, together with the erection of 17 gantry structures 30 m long in the area of Bydgoszcz station.

The deadline for completion of the works has been set for 30 November 2016.
