Modernisation of a Traction Substation in Kraków

Trakcja PRKiI S.A. will modernise the “Bieńczyce” traction substation in Kraków. The contract signed with the Municipality of Kraków (Gmina Miejska Kraków) is worth more than PLN 3.2 million net.

The task will include general construction and structural works on the substation building, which will be equipped, among other things, with an MRT-06 type switchgear manufactured by Trakcja PRKiI S.A. In addition, works related to the sanitary installation, storm drainage and electrical power equipment will be carried out.

The deadline for completion of the works was set for April 2017.
