Modernisation of 11 km of Overhead Contact Line

The works to be carried out by Trakcja PRKiI S.A. under a contract concluded with PKP PLK S.A. will cost almost PLN 7 million. The contract provides for the design and execution of electrical power engineering works on both tracks of the Inowrocław – Bydgoszcz Główna section of the railway line.

Under the task, design documentation will be prepared and a comprehensive modernisation of a section  of railway line 131 Chorzów Batory – Tczew will be carried out. The works will include dismantling and installation of the overhead contact line and associated infrastructure over a section of 11 kilometres.

The deadline for completing the works has been set for the end of August 2016.
