Trakcja Group to Modernise a Wastewater Treatment Plant in Podlasie

The municipality of Narew in Podlaskie Voivodeship will take greater care of the natural environment thanks to the modernisation of its wastewater treatment plant. The comprehensive works will be carried out by Dalba – a company from Trakcja Group.

The works on the modernisation of the wastewater treatment plant in Narew will last six months. The facility, in operation since 2003, serves several thousand customers in the municipality. The planned scope of works is intended to modernise the treatment process, among other things by installing modern equipment, applying technologies that reduce the amount of sludge and protecting it against precipitation. The facility will also be adapted to receive sewage transported from surrounding localities. The modernisation of the equipment will optimise the costs of the treatment process and reduce the impact on the natural environment. The value of the works planned until mid-June 2015 will be almost PLN 1.3 million net.

Dalba sp. z o.o. is an entity within Trakcja Group, a direct subsidiary of the Lithuanian Kauno Tiltai Group, specialising in the construction and repair of sewerage and water supply systems and wastewater treatment plants. The company operates mainly in the Podlasie region.
