Trakcja Group to Repair Roads in the Białystok Area
Repair and maintenance of roads in Podlasie in 2014 – 2016 will be carried out by PEUiM sp. z o.o. of the Trakcja Group. The Company won the tender announced by the Białystok Branch of GDDKiA, and on Monday, 11 August signed the contract with the contracting authority.
The scope of work will cover road repairs at several dozen locations in Podlasie. The works will include, among other things, milling of damaged surfaces and laying of new asphalt surfacing, replacement of kerbs, topping up and adjustment of manholes, topping up of verges, profiling and reinforcement of slopes, and reinstatement of ditches. PEUiM’s bid of PLN 6.2 million net was the most advantageous of the five submitted in this procedure.
PEUiM specialises in the comprehensive construction and repair of streets, roads and associated infrastructure. The Company also has its own asphalt mixing plant, operating for its own needs and for external orders. In 2011, as consortium leader, it delivered the largest road investment in Białystok – the renovation of ul. Generała Maczka, worth PLN 160 million.
