Mr Łukasz Smółka is a graduate of the University of Agriculture in Krakow, where he completed the “Agricultural and Forestry Engineering” programme, specialising in Computer Technologies in the Food Economy. He is a graduate of postgraduate studies – Master of Business Administration at EY Academy of Business.
He has many years of managerial experience, having held managerial positions since 2009 in the Voivodeship Branch of ZOSP RP in the Małopolska Voivodeship. In 2015 – 2018 he worked at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction, and later at the Ministry of Infrastructure, involved in key road and railway investments.
Since 2018 he has focused his activity on the development of road and railway infrastructure in the Małopolska Voivodeship. He manages the organisation of public collective transport in the field of rail and coordinates the work of the railway carriers Polregio, Koleje Małopolskie and Koleje Śląskie. As part of his professional work, he coordinates and supervises the implementation of strategic projects co-financed from EU funds.
