Introduction
Krzysztof Mejer is a graduate of History from the University of Opole and holds qualifications confirmed by the state examination for candidates for supervisory board members, conducted by the Ministry of the State Treasury.
His professional career has spanned over thirty years and has been closely connected with local government, the media, and public service.
Professional Experience
He has gained extensive experience as a radio reporter, television producer, spokesperson for the Silesian Voivode, and spokesperson for the Upper Silesian–Zagłębie Metropolis.
Between 2006 and 2015, he ran his own public relations business, specializing in personal and institutional image building and media relations training.
Since 2012, he has held executive positions in local government administration – first as Advisor to the Mayor of Ruda Śląska, and later as First Deputy Mayor, responsible for municipal management, public transport, environmental protection, and crisis management.
From 2023 to 2024, he served as Vice President of the Management Board of Fundusz Górnośląski S.A., where he was responsible for EU-funded projects supporting the SME sector and for supervising the company’s financial and organizational divisions.
Most recently, he held the position of Vice President of the Management Board of PKM Świerklaniec, where he was responsible for marketing, promotion, and the implementation of infrastructure investments.

He has extensive experience in team management, media and public institution relations, and in developing organizational strategies and image-building initiatives.
