Trakcja PRKiI to Carry Out Teletechnical Works for Łódź Fabryczna

Nearly 35 million net will be the cost of the additional works that Trakcja PRKiI S.A. will carry out at Łódź Fabryczna station under the contract for modernisation of Łódź Widzew station.

Part of the modernisation of Łódź Widzew station was the construction of a local control centre from which traffic at Łódź Fabryczna station will be managed. PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe and Trakcja PRKiI have concluded a contract for the design and construction of teletechnical equipment and IT systems at Łódź Fabryczna station and in the access tunnel and station, together with integration with third-party systems, supplementing the scope of works initially provided for in the contract for modernisation of Łódź Widzew station concluded in 2011. The net value of the contract is PLN 34.88 million net (PLN 42.9 million gross). The completion deadline is 30 August 2016.
