A consortium of Trakcja PRKiI has signed a PLN 67 million contract for strengthening the subgrade of railway embankments on the Warsaw – Gdańsk line in Stańkowy, Prabuty, Mleczewo and Dąbrówka Malborska. The works will be carried out in two stages – first, detailed laboratory and geotechnical ground investigations will be carried out, on the basis of which the contractor will prepare design documentation for the repair of the embankments. The second phase of the project will include construction works to strengthen the subgrade of the embankments, together with the adjustment of the tracks and the overhead contact line over a section of approx. 1.2 km. The project also provides for the removal of any conflicts with underground infrastructure. As part of the task, the contractor will carry out cyclical geotechnical monitoring of the embankment for a period of 3 years after completion of the construction works.

The entire investment will be completed within 13 months of the date of signing the contract.
