Results After Q3

After 9 months of 2016, Trakcja Group recorded sales of PLN 887.6 million, a result comparable to the corresponding period of 2015, when sales revenue amounted to PLN 896.6 million. Gross profit on sales amounted to almost PLN 109 million and grew by 8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. In Q3, Trakcja Group achieved sales revenue of PLN 408.7 million.

„We are consistently improving our internal contract management procedures, which has brought an increase in the gross profit margin on sales to 12.9%. We have successfully adapted to the new conditions and are winning many smaller contracts, mainly in road construction and energy, while at the same time strengthening our potential in the railway sector and seeking foreign markets” – says Jarosław Tomaszewski, President of Trakcja PRKiI.

At the end of Q3, Trakcja Group’s order backlog amounted to PLN 1,334 million. In addition, the Group has available guarantee lines of PLN 793 million and access to credit financing of up to a total of PLN 115 million.

After three quarters, Trakcja PRKiI generated sales revenue of PLN 491 million. Operating profit, meanwhile, amounted to PLN 5.9 million, and net profit PLN 27.4 million.
