Trakcja PRKiI has signed a contract worth PLN 68.12 million net for the reconstruction of a 30 km section of the Stolno – Wąbrzeźno voivodeship road near Chełmno. The contract provides for, among other things, widening of the carriageway together with verges, repair of the surface, and construction and reconstruction of driveways and bus bays.
Under the task, seven roundabouts will be built, as well as pavements and pedestrian and cycle paths along the entire road. In addition, new street lighting will be installed, together with a road weather station in Stolno and an electronic variable message sign.
The deadline for completion of the task falls in mid-June 2019.
Thanks to the investment, access to the “Lisewo” interchange on the A1 motorway, which crosses the Stolno – Wąbrzeźno route, will be significantly improved.
