Contract for Reconstruction of a Street in Piła

Trakcja PRKiI S.A. has signed a contract for the reconstruction of a section of ul. Przemysłowa in Piła, in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, nearly one kilometre long. For PLN 2.2 million, demolition works will be carried out, followed by the construction of a new carriageway, pavement, cycle path, car park and other elements of urban infrastructure.

In addition to the works related to the modernisation of the street, a car park for about 100 cars, parking bays and a bus turning loop will also be built. The contract also includes the construction of street lighting and drainage, and the reconstruction of the telecommunications and gas networks.

After the road works are completed, the adjacent green areas will be reinstated. The investment is planned for completion at the end of September 2015.
