The contract that Trakcja PRKiI concluded with PGE Dystrybucja for the reconstruction of the 110 kV overhead line on the Mielec – Mielec WSK and Połaniec – Mielec Smoczka sections is worth almost PLN 4 million net.
The aim of the investment is to close the existing 110 kV line sections, built in the 1970s. The task will include the dismantling of the old line sections and the modernisation of the line combined with its extension. The works will also include the erection of 12 new lattice and tubular poles and the installation of conductors. Part of the line, over a section of about 0.5 km, will be routed in a trench. Completion of the works is set for the end of December 2016.
