Reconstruction of the Białystok – Supraśl Road Begins

From Friday 23 June, the consortium of contractors led by Trakcja PRKiI S.A. begins the reconstruction of voivodeship road no. 676 on the Białystok – Supraśl section. The investment, worth almost PLN 99 million net, provides for widening the existing road to two lanes in each direction on the section from Białystok to the junction with the road in Nowodworce, and for widening the carriageway surface to 7 metres towards Supraśl. In addition, the project will include the Ogrodniczki bypass and a flyover in Krasne. Numerous engineering structures will be built along the modernised route: road culverts, wildlife crossings and combined crossings. The contract also includes the construction of pavements, cycle paths, bus bays and acoustic screens. The works carried out will require the reconstruction of points of conflict with existing gas, power, telecommunications and sanitary installations.

The partners in the consortium of contractors are PEUiM sp. z o.o. and AB Kauno Tiltai, companies belonging to the Trakcja Group, as well as companies from the Unibep Group.

The whole investment will be completed by the end of July 2018.
