Track Reconstruction near Bydgoszcz

A contract for the reconstruction of railway line No. 201 near Bydgoszcz is worth more than PLN 41 million net.

The modernisation concerns the Nowa Wieś Wielka – Maksymilianowo section, 28 km long, on which track surface works will be carried out to enable the speed of freight trains to be raised to 100 km/h. The works will include, among other things: the reconstruction of 9 level crossings, adjustment of the existing overhead contact line and the construction of 0.5 km of new overhead contact line.

The scope of the task also includes the dismantling and installation of railway traffic control, power and telecommunications equipment, drainage works, the repair of 5 engineering structures and the removal of platforms at two passenger stops.
