For PLN 18 million Trakcja PRKiI will renovate the tracks between Oleśnica and Wrocław. After the works are completed, train speeds will increase and, at the same time, the level of safety on the tracks and at level crossings will improve.
An almost 20-kilometre section of railway line No. 143 will be renovated by Trakcja PRKiI under a contract concluded with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. The contract provides for the renovation of both tracks on the Oleśnica – Wrocław Psie Pole section. The works will also include the repair of 8 level crossings, the reconstruction of the road surface in the area of the level crossings, and works in the railway traffic control (srk), power engineering and drainage sectors. After the works are completed, the maximum train speed on the renovated section will rise to 120 km/h.
The deadline for completion of the works was set for 27 November 2015.
