For nearly PLN 9 million net, 14 km of national road no. 19 between Kuźnica and Białystok will be renovated. The works will be carried out on three sections: Białobłockie – Sokółka, Sokółka – Wierzchłowce and Białobłockie – Geniusze. The contract with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) was concluded by PEUIM Białystok, a company of Trakcja Group.
The scope of works includes, among other things: clearing of the road right-of-way, construction of new pavements, adjustment of road gullies, milling and laying of a new surface, and renovation of ditches and topsoiling of slopes.
The works will be completed in November this year.
