Construction of a Bypass near Oświęcim

Trakcja PRKiI S.A. has signed a contract with the Voivodeship Roads Authority in Kraków (Zarząd Dróg Wojewódzkich) for the construction of a bypass of the town of Zator. The contract value is PLN 13 million.

The investment will cover the construction of a two-lane bypass approx. 3 km long and 3.5 m wide. The task will include new junctions, service roads and roads connecting the bypass with the existing road network. In addition, 4 bridges, 1 viaduct, 12 culverts and wildlife guidance devices will be built. The contract also provides for the construction of lighting and a drainage system, and the installation of road barriers and noise barriers.

Completion of the works is planned for mid-September 2018.
