Trakcja PRKiI to Repair the Tracks…on Gubałówka

The task provides for track and stress adjustment together with maintenance and replenishment of ballast. The works will also include build-up welding of wheel-burn defects (“wybuksy”), replacement of damaged drainage troughs, stabilisation of turnouts and installation of road safety barriers. The contract value is PLN 450 thousand, and it is another task of this type that Trakcja PRKiI will carry out for PKL. The scope of works covers the entire funicular route, 1,301 m long, with a track gauge of 1.20 m.

The works will be carried out outside passenger service hours, and completion is planned for the end of November 2018.
