Agreement between Trakcja PRKiI and PKP PLK

Trakcja PRKiI and PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe have signed an agreement under which they will settle the accounts for the work completed to date and prepare comprehensive documentation for announcing a tender for the remaining construction works on the Jaworzno Szczakowa – Trzebinia and Jaworzno Szczakowa – Sosnowiec Jęzor sections.

The agreement dated 5 January 2015 partially amends the contract concluded on 30 November 2010 for the modernisation of a 20-kilometre section of the Zabrze – Katowice – Kraków line. Under the arrangements, for the works covered by the contract the contractor will receive remuneration for construction works and design works scheduled for completion by 20 June 2015 in a total amount of PLN 55,861 thousand net. In addition, the employer will cover the costs of additional works performed outside the main contract in the amount of PLN 6,904 thousand net, as well as the contractor’s other costs related to the performance of the contract.
