Extension of ul. Sitarska in Białystok

The consortium of Trakcja PRKiI and PEUiM will build an extension of ul. Sitarska in Białystok on the section from the junction with ul. Kozłowska to the junction with ul. Świętokrzyska. The new road will link the Białostoczek and Antoniuk housing estates.

Under the contract, two carriageways with two lanes in each direction will be built, along with noise barriers, bus bays and shelters, cycle paths and pavements. The task also provides for the construction of, among other things, water supply, heating, and low- and medium-voltage power networks, and lighting.

The task will also include a roundabout near
ul. Radzymińska and an overpass with retaining walls above the tracks of railway line no. 6 on the Białystok – state border section. At the same time as the road works, the overhead contact line beneath the overpass will be rebuilt.

The value of the works is nearly PLN 35 million gross. The task will be completed within 15 months from the date of handover of the construction site.
