Trakcja Group with a Road Contract in Lithuania

Kauno Tiltai, a Lithuanian company belonging to the Trakcja Group, has signed a PLN 115 million contract for the comprehensive reconstruction of a section of the A1 Vilnius – Kaunas motorway.

The contract provides for the construction of a dual-carriageway section of motorway more than a kilometre long, together with a 352 m long bridge over the Wilia River and a 74-metre road viaduct over ul. Jonavos in Kaunas. The new bridge will make it possible to separate agglomeration and transit traffic. Under the contract, almost 3 km of lighting network, 1.2 km of drainage and almost 6.5 km of electric lines will be laid. The entire investment will be completed within 17 months from the date of signing the contract.
