Revenue and Order Backlog Growing – First-Half Results

In the first half of 2019, Trakcja Group’s revenue amounted to PLN 655.4 million and was more than 13% higher than in the same period of 2018. During this period, the Company recorded negative profitability of approximately 5.4%. Recently, the share of new contracts in the sales structure has been increasing.

“Consistently, we are stabilising our economic situation – says President of the Management Board Marcin Lewandowski. We have obtained bridge financing and are on the final stretch towards securing full financing for our operations. This year we have already signed contracts worth almost PLN 470 million, offered on significantly better terms, and as the leader of several consortia we are waiting to conclude further contracts worth close to
PLN 960 million in tenders where our offers are ranked first.  We are also putting our current contract backlog in order – we have concluded a settlement terminating one of the road contracts and are negotiating the terms of further cooperation on subsequent tasks.”

Trakcja PRKiI also asserts its  right to claims with a total value exceeding PLN 320 million, of which it intends to pursue more than PLN 155 million through legal action, and more than approx. PLN 165 million through contractual means.

Revenue from Trakcja Group’s foreign operations increased by nearly 40% compared to the same period of last year, with the highest revenue growth dynamics recorded in Ukraine, Latvia and Sweden.
