57/2019 – Information on the conclusion of the contract

The Management Board of Trakcja PRKiI S.A. (‘Company’, ‘Issuer’) informs that today the Company has signed with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw (the ‘Purchaser’), a contract for the design and execution of construction works:

‘»Revitalization of railway lines No. 694/157/190/191 Bronów – Bieniowiec – Skoczów – Goleszów – Cieszyn/Wisła/Głębce« Partial order A: Design and execution of construction works on the section Bronów – Wisła Głębce’ (‘Agreement’).

The total net value of the Agreement is PLN 349,212,728.64.

The contract provides for an advance payment in two installments:

– 1st installment, in the amount of 3% of the approved contractual amount, payable 21 days from the date of submission of the application for advance payment;

– 2nd installment, in the amount of 7% of the approved contractual amount, payable 21 days from the date of submission of the application for advance payment. Submission of the application for the payment of the second installment of the advance will be preceded by the approval of the building project by the Employer.

The works that are the subject of the Agreement are to be completed by 23/12/2021. Other terms of the Agreement do not differ from those commonly used for this type of agreement.

The Issuer’s Management Board decided to publish this information because the value of the Agreement constitutes a significant share in the portfolio of orders carried out by the Issuer on the railway market.
