Trakcja Honoured at the “Diamonds of Infrastructure and Construction” Gala
On 22 June, prestigious “Diamonds of Infrastructure and Construction” (Diamenty Infrastruktury i Budownictwa) statuettes were presented at the Sheraton Grand Warsaw Hotel, intended to honour entities connected with the industry whose activities have contributed to the development of the entire sector. According to the organisers, each award is unique and shows the added value that a given company or person brings to the development of the industry. It was already the 12th edition of the prestigious gala, which has gained great recognition among representatives of this sector of the economy.
Our company received the title of Laureate in the category “Project of the Year: Railway Infrastructure” (Realizacja Roku: Infrastruktura Kolejowa) for the delivery and commissioning of the Warszawa Główna station and for the delivery of the Kraków tram route along Krakowska Street together with the revitalisation and modernisation of the Józef Piłsudski Bridge.
The gala was attended by Marcin Lewandowski, President of the Management Board of Trakcja S.A., who commented on the company’s double distinction with the following words – We are pleased with the awards in a category that is key to our business. It should be emphasised that the competition was fierce, and all the nominated projects met the high expectations of the esteemed awards committee almost equally. The awards in such an important category are gratifying, all the more so because the assessed projects were carried out during the pandemic, and at a time when our company was undergoing thorough restructuring – stressed the President of Trakcja.
