40/2023 – Significant Contract Information

The Management Board of Trakcja S.A. (“Company”, “Issuer”) announces that today it has signed a contract with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. (“PKP PLK”) where the Company acts as the Contractor and PKP PLK acts as the Ordering Party. The contract involves the execution of construction works, preparation of the detailed design, and construction works for the installation of railway traffic control devices, telecommunications equipment, and provision of post-warranty services at the Gliwice Łabędy station under the project titled “Works on the Main Passenger Corridors (E30 and E65) in the Silesian Area, Stage IIa: E30 Line Gliwice Łabędy Station” (“Contract”).

The Contract is divided into:

• Basic Scope:
  • Task A: PLN 357,726,191.36 net
  • Task B: PLN 67,797,727.51 net
• Optional Scope:
  • Option 1: PLN 5,259,192.84 net
  • Option 2: PLN 3,665,305.27 net

The total maximum value of the Contract may reach PLN 434,448,416.98 net.

Timeline for completion:

• Task A and Task B: 50 months from the day following the signing of the Contract.
• Option 1: 108 months, starting directly after the 72-month warranty service period, which begins on the date of final acceptance of the works as per the Contract.
• Option 2: Throughout the entire duration of the Contract, with a final term similar to Option 1.

The terms of the Contract do not differ from those commonly used for such contracts.

The Issuer’s Management Board has decided to publish this information as the execution of this investment project constitutes a significant portion of the Company’s order portfolio and impacts the maintenance of current and future revenues and results.
