On 16 October 2014, the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company decided to perform a reverse split of the shares of Trakcja PRKiI S.A.
On 30 September 2014, Trakcja PRKiI S.A. completed construction works at the technical facilities of the Łódź Agglomeration Railway. The most state-of-the-art train service complex in Poland was built within only 12 months in the direct neighbourhood of the Łódź Widzew station.
Trakcja PRKiI S.A. will construct a new transmission line between Przemyśl and Radymno in the Podkarpackie Province. The 110 kV power line will supply power to the Korczowa Logistics Park and enable a series of new consumers to be connected and also reduce power transmission losses.
Trakcja PRKiI is the contractor implementing two large projects in Łódź Widzew, namely the modernisation of its railway station and the construction of technical facilities for the Łódź Agglomeration Railway. The works are progressing at a rapid pace and their effects are visible every day.
Trakcja Group has published its financial results for Q1 2014. Its revenues have risen by more than 33%, its net profit is almost 9 million higher than in the previous year, whereas EBITDA increased by 31%, reaching the level of PLN 32.4 million. Almost 65% of the Group's revenues are generated by Trakcja PRKiI, which has also significantly improved its results.
WKD (Warsaw Commuter Railway) tracks between Warszawa Śródmieście and Komorów will be modernised by Trakcja PRKiI. The works will be performed in two stages in only three months.
